Chronology of Tabak-Lädeli
1974Takeover of the Tabak company from Mr. Ehrsam by Mrs. Hilde Wagner-Thut.1977Support through Max Wagner-Thut. Now the married couple both ran the business.
1982 The second youngest son of the Wagners' joined the family business.
1985Death of the company founder, Hilde Wagner-Thut. Max Wagner-Thut is now leading the business with his son, René Wagner. Also in this year, they started their business relationship with the pipe-maker, Jess Chonowitsch.
1991The wife of René Wagner joins the family business.
1992Takeover of Tabak-Laedeli by René Wagner from his parents.
199420 Year Anniversary, celebretaed with a big party. This anniversary also maked the release of the Limited Edtition 20th Anniversary pipes which were designed by Jess Chonowitsch.
1995 Start of a strong relationship with the European Cigar Cult Journal. René Wagner is the organizer of the cigar tastings for the journal's publisher; Dr. Helmut Romé.

The range includes Masterpieces by Jess Chonowitsch, Lars Ivarson and the Swedish Bo Nordh. .For the pipe smoker, we offer eleven different house-blends of tobacco and a big range of tobacco producers. The cigar smoker also has the choice of a full-range of premium cigars from Cuba, Domincan Republic, Honduras, Nicaragua, Jamaica, and Brazil. Also, the house is offering two cigarillos of its own brand, and another from Holland of it's own brand.
